Profhilo is a new skincare product that’s about to change your life.
It’s an anti-aging injection that uses hyaluronic acid, or HA, to improve your skin in a variety of ways. It can smooth out fine lines and wrinkles, plump up your skin, and even improve elastin production and collagen in your skin.
Unlike other injectables that just fill in creases on your face with filler, Profhilo actually tightens the skin to prevent further damage from occurring. The HA is injected directly into the face, where it plumps up the tissue and improves elasticity so nothing else can wrinkle or sag. It also increases blood flow to the area so you get intense hydration as well!

What is Profhilo?
The first of its kind, Profhilo® is a revolutionary ‘beneath the skin’ hyaluronic acid moisturising treatment, made with the patented NAHYCO® technology. This results in a unique hyaluronic acid injectable gel, which has a prolonged stimulating activity on the dermal cells. When injected into skin, Profhilo® stimulates the skin cell receptors to counteract skin laxity and improve and restore firmness of the skin.
One of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid on the market, Profhilo® not only boosts and hydrates the skin, but also remodels ageing and sagging tissue. The most common areas of treatment include the face and neck and can also be used for the décolletage, hands, arms, knees and abdomen area where it would effectively treat skin laxity. The treatment is suitable for men and women as well as offering skin benefits for patients of all ages.

Ultra-pure hyaluronic acid is precisely injected into the area being treated. Unlike wrinkle reducing and dermal filler treatments, Profhilo® stimulates collagen and elastin, attracting water in the deeper layers of the skin.
As a stabilised product, the activity on dermal cells will last longer than that of a non-stabilised gel. During this time the stimulation of four different types of collagen and elastin takes place by slow release of hyaluronic acid.
The stimulation results in significant tissue improvement. Therefore we cannot say that Profhilo® is a skin booster as it also has a significant tightening / lifting effect on the tissue.
We will apply numbing cream to sensitive areas, followed by marking up your skin. Once we’ve identified the problematic areas we will then inject the Profhilo directly into your skin or body. The last step is when we apply a adhesive patch to keep the area from products and dry for the next 24 hours.

Yes. There are a few things to bare in mind, please see below:
If able to, please stop any medication 7 days prior that can increase your risk of bleeding e.g. Aspirin, fish oil, ibuprofen. Do not stop medication if recommended to do for a medical reason.
Avoid using ‘active skincare’ products e.g. Retinol, AHA/BHAs, for 2 days pre procedure.
Avoid heavy exercise 24 hrs prior to your appointment.
Avoid heavy alcohol consumption 24 hrs prior.
Have a history of abnormal skin scarring.
Have extra colouring in your scars.
Have skin conditions or take medications that make your skin more sensitive.
Can’t stay out of the sun for the healing period.

Auto immune diseases

Aspirin allergy
Any suspicious lesions or active skin cancers

Profhilo treatment: what to expect
We start with cleansing and prepping your skin, we will then mark out your skin for the treatment. Once we’ve identified which areas need targeting, we will inject the chosen product directly into your skin.
