How much do Botox injections cost?

Botox comes in small bottles, each branch has a different price range. There are only a few botox chemicals which are regulated in the UK, it is always best to check which ones are being used. The price-range for botox varies from practise to practise, generally speaking these can be between £130 - 450 per treatment. The more botox that is used, the more the price increases. 

What are the three area's for botox?

Botox can be applied to several different area's of your face however the most popular area's are crow's feet, the frown lines between your eyebrows and forehead lines. 

How long does Botox last?

Generally speaking botox can vary between 3-4 months, in certain individuals this can last longer and in others it can be shorter. It is always best to wait 3 months before getting more botox injected. 

Is it worth getting botox done?

In short Yes! If you feel conscious of wrinkles and want to feel better about the way you look, Botox can relax your muscles to stop them contracting which leads to wrinkles appearing and stop those wrinkles from being more prominent. 

Are fillers better than botox?

Dermal fillers can be just as effective as Botox however they both work in different ways and target different areas. For example, the frown lines between your eyebrows should be filled in with fillers but can be relaxed with Botox. In contrast dermal fillers can provide volume to your lips where Botox would curl your lip outwards to show more lip rather than provide volume.

What can 25 units of Botox do?

Generally women tend to require less Botox than men, 25 units can treat the frown lines between your eyebrows, men would require slightly more than this. Crow's feet requires 30 units of Botox and the forehead lines can require 30 units as well. Other areas such as lip flip, gummy smile and pebble chin require less units which results in a lesser cost. Jaw slimming/teeth grinding requires more units than any other area, varying between 40-50 units.
