Anti-wrinkle for forehead lines
Forehead lines have a way of becoming the only thing you see in the mirror — and they can make you look older, or more tired and serious, than you feel. A stressful job or busy life often means more frowning, which deepens the lines between the brows (the "angry" look) even when you're perfectly relaxed.
If you've tried anti-wrinkle creams and they haven't done much, a quick anti-wrinkle treatment could be the answer. In as little as 15 minutes you can have your treatment and head straight back to your day — pop in on your lunch hour, evening or weekend.

What are forehead lines & wrinkles?
Lines in the forehead region work in two ways. Frown lines are the vertical lines that appear between your eyebrows, sometimes giving a cross or angry look. Forehead lines are the horizontal lines that run across the middle of your forehead.
Both are dynamic lines — formed by repeatedly using the same muscles to raise the brows or frown, and deepened by the natural loss of collagen and elasticity as we age.
A small dose of botulinum toxin relaxes these muscles so they move less, smoothing the surface of the skin. The dosing can be tailored, so you can choose a smoother, frozen look or keep a little natural movement without the lines showing.
Who is forehead line treatment for?
This treatment suits adults in good general health who are bothered by horizontal forehead lines or frown lines between the brows and want a smoother, fresher look. It's a great option if you'd prefer a quick, non-surgical treatment with no downtime, and you can choose how much movement to keep.
It isn't suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or if certain medical conditions apply (the full list is further down the page). That's why every treatment starts with a consultation — so we can check it's right for you, answer your questions and set realistic expectations before anything goes ahead.
Looking after your results
- Stay upright for around 4 hours after your treatment.
- Avoid touching, rubbing or massaging the forehead for 24 hours.
- Skip strenuous exercise for 24 hours.
- Avoid alcohol for 24 hours.
- Avoid heat treatments — saunas, steam rooms and sunbeds — for about 2 weeks.
- Hold off on makeup over the area for a few hours.
- Results develop over 3–14 days, so be patient at first.

Before & after your treatment
What to expect
We apply a controlled amount across the areas you'd like wrinkle-free. As a needle is used, you may feel a small scratch as it enters the skin, but this isn't usually painful. The procedure can take up to 15 minutes depending on how many areas you'd like treated.
Afterwards you may notice some stinging or slight bruising at the injection sites — temporary effects that settle quickly. Anti-wrinkle injections take several days to take full effect, so don't worry if you don't see a change in the first few days.
How to prepare
- Avoid alcohol for 48 hours before your treatment.
- Let us know about any prescribed or non-prescribed medication you're taking.
- Avoid over-the-counter anti-inflammatories such as ibuprofen for 48 hours beforehand.
Who shouldn't have this treatment
This treatment isn't suitable if any of the following apply. If unsure, please ask during your consultation:
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Hypertrophic or keloid scarring
- Bleeding abnormalities (e.g. anticoagulant use or thrombocytopenia)
- Active skin condition in the area (e.g. eczema or psoriasis)
- Active infection in the area (e.g. herpes simplex or pustular acne)
- Impaired healing (e.g. due to immunosuppression)
- Skin atrophy (e.g. chronic oral steroid use, or syndromes such as Ehlers-Danlos)
- Sensitivity or allergy to botulinum toxin or its constituents, or a milk allergy with certain products
- Neuromuscular disorders (e.g. ALS, Lambert-Eaton syndrome, myasthenia gravis or myopathies)
- Gross motor weakness in the area (e.g. Bell's palsy or stroke)
- Uncontrolled systemic conditions
- Medications that may potentiate the effect (e.g. aminoglycosides, quinine, calcium-channel blockers, penicillamine)
- Unrealistic expectations or body dysmorphic disorder
- Periocular or ocular surgery in the last 6 months
