What does Profhilo do to your face?

Profhilo is the gold standard in the industry, it stimulates four different types of collagen and elastin in your skin, which plumps up your skin, provides greater skin quality, reduces lines and wrinkles and can even contour your face! Profhilo is delivered through injection at five different points on your face and the serum will spread to cover your face.

How long does Profhilo last?

The results of Profhilo can last for around 6 months, however Profhilo leaves the body after 28 days.

Is Profhilo better than botox?

Both treatments are great at addressing skin concerns however neither is better than the other. Both treatments work in different ways and address different issues, Botox will relax your muscles to stop them contracting whereas Profhilo will provide hyradation to your skin leaving it with the youthful glow you had when you were younger.

What are the risks with Profhilo?

As with any treatment, Profhilo will come with side effects, these can include:

Swelling
Bruising
Soreness
Redness

Most of these will subside after a few days, if these last longer, you must contact your practitioner.

How many sessions of Profhilo do you need?

Generally individuals require two sessions, spaced out one month apart, however if you have sagging skin and it is quite severe, a third session may be required to get the best results. Ideally to maintain the results, the treatment needs to be carried out six months apart.

Does Profhilo make you look younger?
