What is microneedling good for?

Microneedling is a great tool to help you deal with skin concerns. Micro-needling uses a pen designed to create small ruptures in the skin, forcing your skin to repair itself, resulting in new collagen, skin tissue, smoother, firmer skin, It is a great tool to deal with hyperpigmentation, acne scarring, wrinkles and large pores.

How much does micorneedling cost?

Micorneedling varies in costs depending on the serums used as well as the private practise itself. 

Generally speaking microneedling can cost between £80-£250 per session. 

Is microneedling worth it?

Microneedling is not a quick fix, to see results takes at least 6 sessions, most people will find microneedling beneficial and see results after the first session.

How long does microneedling last?

Everyone's skin and repair system is different, generally microneedling can last between 3-5 months. The length of time for the results vary depending on how long collagen stays in your body and your skin concerns. 

Can microneedling damage your skin?

There are risks to consider with microneedling treatments, these include bleeding, soreness, tightness, bruising, itching and peeling, these typically subside after a few days or weeks in some cases. It is always best to use SPF 50 after treatment to protect your skin. 

What age should you start microneedling?

Generally people can start to show signs of ageing in their 30's so we would suggest starting any your late 30's, this can help you maintain your youthful glow and promote collagen production.
