Dermal Fillers are becoming more and more popular as time goes on, from people wanting treatments to smooth their lines, crow’s feet or to plump up and volumize their lips, define their cheeks and jaw.
Injectable fillers are great to inject into areas of the face and hands, improving the appearance of lines and for those who have had volume loss, whether this is caused by genetics, age, or a medical condition.
Dermal fillers are a gel substances which consist of hyaluronic acid, with other ingredients all of which vary depending on the brand. Fillers are injected directly into the skin which can then lift the skin, providing volume and smoothing out lines. We use temporary fillers although permanent fillers are available, these cannot be removed unless it’s done through surgery. We use temporary fillers which give you the freedom of choice, you can always have the filler dissolved should you change your mind.
There can be side effects to fillers which include
- Bruising
- Swelling
- Pain at the injection point
- Redness
- Rash
Our dermal Fillers are temporary which means we can always dissolve it should we need to!
Some individuals do experience swelling with fillers, which is normal, applying an ice pack to the area can help!
